Consultation

An hour of talking instead of a week of browser tabs

We do not book for you and we take no commission from hotels. What we do is show you how we do it ourselves: where to look for flights, how to read a hotel price, what to measure a route with, and where people most often lose money and days. One hour, your questions, our screen.

Why that is the price

  • An hour costs less than one hotel night, and a trip usually has seven of them. Against the budget of a trip for two it is a few per cent, not tens of them.

  • One badly bought connection, one non-refundable fare, one insurance policy that does not cover your case — each costs more than an hour of talking. Usually much more.

  • And the simplest part: if we have nothing to add on your question, we say so before you pay. Asking costs nothing.

Two situations we are useful in

  • You are just starting

You have a destination and rough dates, and after that forty tabs and a feeling that everything is expensive. We go through where to start, what to search with, and in what order to decide, so you do not rebuild the trip three times.

  • The trip is almost booked

Flights chosen, hotels in the basket, the budget already in the thousands. We look at what can still be improved while it is not too late: where you are overpaying, which connection will cost you a day, where the insurance does not cover your case. This is usually the most profitable hour, because changes are still possible.

Who you will be talking to

There are two of us, and usually both are on the call. We are not travel agents and never have been — we have simply been travelling for years and worked out how to do it without overpaying and without the stress.

Where we have been

  • Switzerland
  • Italy
  • France
  • Spain
  • Portugal
  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Netherlands
  • Belgium
  • Luxembourg
  • Liechtenstein
  • Czech Republic
  • Slovakia
  • Poland
  • Belarus
  • Hungary
  • Slovenia
  • Croatia
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Greece
  • United Kingdom
  • Turkey
  • Israel
  • UAE
  • Morocco
  • Russia
  • Georgia
  • Kazakhstan
  • Uzbekistan
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • China
  • Hong Kong
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Philippines
  • New Zealand
  • United States

The list is incomplete and growing. If your destination is not on it, write anyway — we will say plainly whether we have anything to add.

What we can cover

  • Flights

Where to look besides the first search engine, how to play with dates and connections, when an extra stop pays for itself and when it just costs you a day. And what to do about luggage on low-cost carriers.

  • Hotels and stays

How to read a price: what is included, what gets added on arrival, where tax is counted separately. Which parts of a review matter and which to ignore. When to book and when to wait.

  • Building the route

From an idea to days: how much to allow per city, where not to economise on time, how to avoid assembling a trip you come home exhausted from. And what we measure distances and transfers with.

  • Road trips and car rental

What to check in the contract before signing, which insurance you need and which is sold for nothing, border crossings, toll roads, parking. And where to rent for less than at the airport.

  • The tools we use

What we actually use: search, maps, price tracking, keeping documents, offline access. No affiliate links — just the list of what works.

  • Everything else

Visas and timing, insurance, what to pack and what to leave, staying connected, what to do when the plan breaks. Bring your own question.

What you are left with

  • A note with links: what we decided, what to search with, what to avoid. Sent the same day, in the language we spoke.

  • The list of services and apps we use ourselves. No affiliate links — it makes no difference to us where you book.

  • A method, not one trip. How to count and what to check works next time too, and the year after.

How it works

  1. Write to us

On Telegram, WhatsApp or by e-mail. Briefly: where, roughly when, and what you want to talk about.

  2. We say whether we can help

If we have nothing useful to add on your destination or question, we will say so. You pay nothing for that answer.

  3. We agree a time

An hour by video or voice, whenever suits you. Your time zone, not ours.

  4. The hour, and notes after

We talk and share our screen. Afterwards you get a short summary with links, so you do not have to take notes while listening.

  5. From there you do it yourself

You book directly, with nobody between you and the price. The method stays with you — for this trip and the ones after it.
